FAQ

Answers to common questions.

Don't see your question here? Give us a call — we're happy to talk through anything specific to your home.

How do I know if I need more insulation?

Common signs include uneven room temperatures, high heating and cooling bills, cold floors or ceilings, and visible drafts. A free energy audit is the most reliable way to know for sure — we can check your current insulation levels and show you exactly where your home is losing energy.

How long does an energy audit take?

Most in-home assessments take about an hour, depending on the size of your home. We'll walk through your attic, walls, and any problem areas, and may run diagnostic tests like a blower door test.

Do I need to be home during the assessment or installation?

We recommend being home for the initial assessment so we can walk through the findings with you. For installation day, someone should be available at the start and end of the job, but you don't need to be present for the entire visit.

What areas do you service?

We serve customers nationwide with offices across the country, including Utah, Ohio, Tennessee, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Minneapolis, Detroit, and Indianapolis. Call us to confirm service in your area.

How soon can you schedule my project?

Scheduling depends on your location and the season, but we work to get you on the calendar as quickly as possible. Call us and we'll give you our current availability.

Will air sealing make my house too "tight"?

No — air sealing targets unwanted gaps and leaks, not the ventilation your home actually needs. We test before and after with a blower door test to confirm the work improves efficiency without creating air quality issues.

How much does insulation typically cost?

Cost depends on your home's size, current insulation levels, and the scope of work needed. We provide a free, no-obligation estimate so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.

Do you offer financing?
